MGM Resorts International (MGM): About 9,000 January 11 calls were bought for $0.24 as investors position for upside. MGM rose 0.98 percent to $10.35.

Bank of America (BAC): Investors bought about 14,000 January 6 calls and for $0.08 to $0.09, and about 9,000 January 6 weekly calls, which expire next Friday, for $0.02 to $0.03. The trades are looking for shares to rally in the near term. BAC is unchanged at $5.46.

Intel (INTC): An investor bought about 10,000 July 23 puts for $1.56 and sold roughly the same number of July 17 puts for $0.30, looking for the semiconductor giant to push lower. INTC fell 0.45 percent to $24.44.
