Sprint Nextel (S): More than 26,000 January 5 calls were bought, mostly for $0.05, but volume was below open interest. S rose 3.83 percent to $2.845.
Viacom-B (VIA.B): A block of 10,000 November 41 calls traded against existing open interest. VIA/B rose 3 percent to $41.50.
JP Morgan (JPM): More than 8,000 February 37 calls were purchased, with the largest block pricing for $1.31. JPM fell 0.43 percent to $32.40. (See related stor y)
Williams (WMB): About 13,000 December 29 puts were bought, mostly for $1.16, but volume was below open interest. WMB rose 0.33 percent to $30.39.
Computer Sciences (CSC): A block of 5,000 December 20 puts was bought for $0.30 as investors look for downside. CSC fell 6.95 percent to $25.96. (See related story )
